Coaching

Driving a major change project can get pretty lonely at times. There are so many new technologies and processes that conflict with existing practices and confuse people. In addition, you have to handle team members’ resistance to change.

Similarly, project jumpstarts or recoveries can be frustrating. There are so many options to consider as you plot your next move. Plus, you have to deal with team members’ feelings as you redirect their performance.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have an experienced coach in these situations? Someone who has traveled down the road before and can offer guidance and reassurance that you are headed the right way. Someone who gives you candid, constructive health checks on projects, then helps you put a plan in place to improve them. Someone who knows where to look for risk and helps you manage it. Someone to navigate you from where you are to where you want to be.

Program Navigators’ coaches offer that experience. We are flexible to serve you when you need us most, arranging coaching on a full-time, periodic or as-needed basis.

Training

Program Navigators works closely with you to select the right training for the right people at the right time to maximize your RTI--return on training investment. We assess your staff and then develop customized training programs suited to each member, each project team or the entire enterprise.

We work with you to select the best type of training (see below). We also help you choose the best delivery mode, whether it be instructor-led classroom training, facilitated working sessions, on-the-job training, or coaching and mentoring. In addition, we help you interview, select and negotiate the best training vendors to fit your needs. We assist you in developing your own training material and teach your people on how to transfer knowledge throughout the organization.

We offer three types of training:
Awareness Training This is general knowledge training that introduces new concepts and provides overviews so people learn there may be a different or better way to meet their goals. People now “know what they don’t know” and seek to learn more.
Theory Training Once people become aware of concepts or processes that may help them be successful, they seek to understand the theory, or the “what and why” behind the ideas.
Application Training This is “how to” training. It is the specific instruction on how to manage processes, tools and techniques used to perform the job.
